The Essen-based “FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management” and the University of Sopron’s Alexandre Lámfalussy Faculty of Economics organized a Summer University for German students.
At the opening on July 14, Prof. Dr. Zsuzsanna Széles, Dean of the Lámfalussy Sándor Faculty of Economics, and Prof. Dr. Benjamin Niestroj, on behalf of FOM, welcomed the students. The cooperation between the two institutions will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025. This year, 17 master’s students arrived from Essen to deepen their knowledge of projects, innovation, and negotiation techniques between July 14 and 25, 2025.
During the Summer University, Hungarian and German colleagues give lectures and seminar sessions. We hope that all students will successfully complete the requirements and return home with a lot of useful knowledge upon completion of the training.
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management of FOM University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Clemens Jäger, also arrived in Sopron for this event, and discussed future cooperation opportunities with Prof. Dr. Zsuzsanna Széles, Dean of the Lámfalussy Faculty.
